Abstract
OBJECTIVE To investigate non-infective factors possibly associated with leukocytospermia 2. DESIGN Cross sectional study 3. SETTING Unit for Human Reproduction, Universitas Tertiary Hospital in Bloemfontein 4. PATIENTS A total of seventy three, (73) patients were included in the study 5. OUTCOME MEASURES Non infective factors possibly associated with leukocytospermia such as smoking, alcohol use, recreational drug use and HIV infection 6. RESULTS A total of 73 patients were included in the study and leukocytospermia was found in 36% (N=27/73). In the study the investigated variables were found not to be statistically significantly associated with leukocytospermia (P values>0.05). 7. CONCLUSION From our study, none of the variables were significantly associated with the presence of leukocytospermia
