Aspects such as: a relational way of thinking about concepts, epistemology and methodology; the rigorous construction of the object of research; and epistemic reflexivity are analysed and illustrated by drawing on Bourdieu’s own research practice and reflections.The paper draws on Bourdieu’s original works as well as secondary publications on Bourdieu’s work.
